Glenorchy, New Zealand

Just 40km outside of the hustle and bustle of Queenstown, this little village with just over 200 people is a popular tourist spot, close to many tramping tracks. The local scenery received worldwide attention when it was used as one of the settings in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings films. You can tour where the saga was filmed and ride with the stars themselves - the horses!
